Meet NEO - Nursery Exhibitors Organisation

NEO was started by some of the UK's top horticultural exhibitors who felt there was a need for a new community of growers and exhibitors.  Members comprise of existing nursery exhibitors and specialist nurseries across the UK who grow a wide range of plants.  NEO is open to all British nurseries. The main aim is for specialist nurseries with British grown plants to join together to form a community of skills and knowledge to work together and support this niche area of horticulture.

Over the past few years, the number of shows across the UK where nurseries can display and have their exhibits judged has significantly decreased and NEO is hoping that it can help to reverse this trend by working with show organisers and encouraging new nurseries to create displays at shows.

  Specialist nurseries, by virtue of their operations, represent environmentally sustainable enterprises. The diversity of plants cultivated is essential for preserving the range of cultivated plant species within the United Kingdom.

Through its objectives, NEO will promote the social and economic sustainability of its members, enabling them to continue supporting environmental stewardship by cultivating plants according to best practices tailored to their areas of expertise. NEO support will contribute to the wellbeing and continued success of our members by fostering collaboration and mutual assistance.
